To Foster Care / Kinship Families:

First, we would like to thank you for all that you do for these children. We know it’s not always easy, but we are so very grateful for the love, time, and effort you generously give. 

In order to welcome you to shop our closet, we kindly ask the following:

• Schedule an appointment via text/email/phone call
• Bring a photo ID and placement paperwork with you to your appointment

Please note: The child(ren) must be physically living in your house. We cannot accommodate pending or advance placements at this time. 

We must limit the amount of items that you will be able to take home in order to better serve the entire community. Our current limits are as follows:

• 5 like articles of clothing per size
• 1 toy per child
• 2 books per child

Once our “Closet” items have served their purpose for your family, please consider donating them back to Blue Ridge Foster Love, so they can assist other families just like yours!

If your child has expressed interest in an experience (dance lessons / new bike / camp), and you would like to add his / her name to our request list, please let us know during your visit or by sending us an email.
